The Old, Old Story

Samuel Hathaway, first-time filmmaker, worked with several MCAD alumni such as Brandon Boulay, Ben Lifson, and Ethan Soper. They will be showing a new movie titled The old, old story at the upcoming Twin Cities Film Festival.

Knight Arts Challenge

MCAD staff and alumni are among forty Knight Arts Challenge winners.

Winners were selected based on the criteria of making art accessible in St. Paul, "bringing it more deeply into the city's neighborhoods and engaging and enriching the lives of the people who live there." Together, the awards total $1.29 million.

Culvers Victory

J.M. Culver ’06 has created two large-scale paintings titled The Fight and Victory. Commissioned by the Glass Foundation, Culver began the paintings after doing research on Aeries, Nike, symbolism, and victory over cancer.
