A vacant lot in downtown St. Paul that was once home to the Pedro Luggage company will soon be turned into an urban flower field. The project will be temporary, although the city hopes to raise enough money to eventually turn the property into a permanent park.

Michael Kareken's Magnet

Faculty Member Michael Kareken's large painting, "Magnet", is part of a Minnesota Historical Society exhibition entitled Recent Acquisitions: Art Since 1945. The exhibition features nearly 40 works of art created by Minnesotans over the last 30 years.

Helena Keefe ’00 is set to receive her MFA from UC Berkeley this month.

Keefe's work will be featured in the 44th Annual University of California, Berkeley Master of Fine Arts Graduate Exhibition. The exhibition runs from May 8–June 8 at the Berkeley Art Museum.

The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design has announced the winners of the 2014 Windgate Fellowships, awarded to ten graduating college seniors with exemplary skill in craft. Included in this list of winners is recent graduate Kassandra Huynh.
