The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) is pleased to present The Meeting Waters, the upcoming 2015 Master of Fine Arts Annual Fall Exhibition in Whittier Gallery. Uniting artists from disparate sources, The Meeting Waters explores the possibilities of physical and psychological spaces in flux.

This exhibition will feature work by current and incoming MCAD graduate students in the disciplines of comic arts; drawing and painting; filmmaking; graphic design; illustration; installation; photography; performance; print, paper, and book-making; and sculpture.

The Meeting Waters is located at the MCAD Whittier Studios and is hosted by the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. There will be live student performances, music, and light refreshments provided during the opening reception. The event is free and open to the public.

ABOUT MCAD’S MFA PROGRAM

The MCAD MFA Program is a community of makers, thinkers, theorists, researchers, and creative professionals. Our student body is diverse with a robust international presence. The subject of student inquiry responds to social, cultural and professional needs as well as to entrepreneurial opportunities, stretching across art and design practices. Students in the program pursue creative work in a lively, interdisciplinary environment that includes graphic design, printmaking, paper and book arts, painting, photography, illustration, sculpture, drawing, animation, interactive media, filmmaking, comic arts, furniture design, and illustration art.
