Minneapolis, MN—August 2018—The Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) is pleased to be spotlighting the art and research undertaken by both full- and part-time faculty in the 2018 MCAD Faculty Biennial. This year more than fifty faculty members in the college’s Arts Entrepreneurship, Design, Fine Arts, Media Arts, and Liberal Arts Departments will be participating in an exhibition in the Main and Concourse Galleries and presenting papers, film screenings, performances, and readings as part of a Faculty Forum Series in Auditorium 140.

The wide variety of media and formats will showcase the breadth of the faculty’s expertise and offer audience members multiple opportunities to visit MCAD’s campus.

A special one-hour screening during the Sunday, September 7 reception will include an animated trilogy by Tom Schroeder titled bike trip, a short experimental film by Jason Coyle titled Same Bare Place, and a film by Sam Hoolihan titled Expanding the Frame: Stasis and Motion.
