Tell Me More about Graphic Design at MCAD

On choosing a major at MCAD: "Graphic designed represented endless creative possibilities."

"MCAD's workload is HARD but real life is HARDER. My time at MCAD forced me to learn time management skills and how to work more strategically (which are skills I still lean on today)."

"My biggest inspiration is walking down the street and seeing all the strange and funny ways people choose to lay out typography."

“MCAD has so many fantastic corners to explore. I absolutely love the white tiles, exploring the stacks of design books in the library, and all of the great green space.”

Brandt began his career as a cartoonist in Japan and has since found focus largely in print media. His typographic exploration exhibition project, Ficciones Typografika, is receiving critical acclaim locally, nationally, and internationally.

"I feel that MCAD professors keep opening doors and windows for us, so we can see more and more. The relationship between the student and professor here is beyond the regular relationship you get at other schools. I think that’s the most amazing thing about MCAD."
