Locations Throughout New York City

This fall, MFA and MA students and alumni* are invited to attend a group trip to New York City. This trip will comprise visits to art and design venues, agencies, and studios—including the studios and offices of several MCAD alumni.

Participants are in charge of arranging their own travel and accommodations however they can save money by making plans well in advance, utilizing college student discounts available through organizations such as Student Universe, and by considering hostels, shared hotel rooms, or staying with friends. Staying in  Brooklyn, Queens or Jersey City (near the subway system) will allow inexpensive navigation throughout the city using a seven-day transit pass.

If you are an MCAD MFA / MA student or alum and interested in this trip, please contact MFA Director Ellen Mueller at emueller@mcad.edu for more information.

Below are links to register for organized visits with various alumni. A waitlist is automatically created once an event is full. Deadline for sign-up is September 1, 2019. Disclaimer: By signing up for any of these events, we expect you will attend. Please do not register to hold a spot while you figure out whether or not you’ll be going.

*While current students will be given priority, alumni may also participate in this trip as space permits.
