Photography is an ever expanding and multi-faceted medium. Some early methods have been used for over one hundred years, and are still used today! In this class, students will experiment with alternative techniques such as cyanotypes, photograms, photomontage, and instant film. These processes only require the right mix of chemistry, sunlight, and objects to work! This hands-on class will focus on experimentation, creative thinking, and one's own development of photographic expression. / Materials fee of $30 in addition to class tuition. / Open to students ages 12–15. MCAD strictly adheres to these age guidelines and is unable to allow exceptions. / View complete policies.

Prerequisites: Some photography experience is helpful, but not required.

What to bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook.

What to wear: Clothes appropriate for messy creativity

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.
