Title:
Amazing Places and Imaginary Spaces (Exploring Landscape Art) (On Campus)
Instructor:
Price:
$200.00

Have you marveled at the mountains of Mars, fawned over the flower fields in fairyland, or wondered at the wacky waves of the waterworld? Have you ever imagined faraway places no one has seen? Well, in this class you get to create those places in paint and other colorful media. We will take some inspiration from Paul Gaugain, Charles Burchfield, and Yves Tanguy. The focus is on color mixing, showing the illusion of form and space on a 2-dimensional surface, and imagination. / Open to students ages 6–9.
