Have you thought about making your own comic, but weren't sure how to begin? In this class, students will examine the skills and concepts necessary to become successful comic artists. They will look at how comics have changed over the years and discover how truly diverse comic genres can be. Whether you love superheroes or real-life stories, you will be introduced to the tools and foundations of storytelling that will help you develop your own personal mini-comic to share with your classmates. / Basic drawing skills are strongly recommended. / There will be no class on 7/3. / Open to students ages 15-18. / View complete policies here.

Prerequisites: Previous drawing experience helpful, but not required.

What to bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook. A complete list of suggested materials will be discussed during the first class meeting.

Please Register Before: June 15

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.
