Design Thinking Crash Course

Design thinking is a creative, human-centered approach to solving complex problems. It is a technique and approach that anyone can learn and use. It’s about focusing on the people you’re designing for, asking questions, and experimenting with simple prototypes to come up with radically new solutions. In this course, we’ll explore the tools and mindsets of design thinking — things like empathy, idea generation, and rapid prototyping — and apply them to real-world problems. The course is run workshop-style, combining short lectures with lots of hands-on activities in small groups. Join us to explore, innovate, and cultivate your creative potential! / Materials fee of $5 in addition to course tuition. / Open to students ages 18 and above. / View complete policies.
