Intermediate Watercolor: Liquid Agility

This class is designed to function as a continuation of the beginning level watercolor class, Watercolor Blast. Students will expand upon the skills and experiences previously gained and the class will engage the dedicated watercolor student with a rigorous curriculum and one-on-one guidance. On a weekly basis, this class pushes each artist to achieve their own personal next level. By providing a balance between technical sequences and individualized demos, this class cares for the watercolor artist as holistic healthy being.

Students can expect to gain invaluable and helpful tricks of the trade and should plan for critiques to go beyond topics of style and technique. Individual expression is celebrated, and for any student who may need help boosting their creativity, this class will cover strategies for generating visual content, expressing ideas, investigating themes, and solidify meaning in your artwork.

Whether you are aiming to create more realistic watercolor artworks or more expressive creations, this class is guaranteed to help you refine your watercolor practice and accelerate your ability to make bolder pursuits. / Materials fee of $15 in addition to class tuition. / Open to students ages 18 and above. / View complete policies.

Prerequisites: Previous drawing or painting experience. Watercolor Blast preferred, but not required.

What to bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook; anyl watercolor supplies you already have that you want to use. Complete list of supplies will be provided first day of class, and we will be able to make a group paper order in bulk to save money if students are interested.

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.
