Follow a project brief through the process of research, design, and prototyping. Along the way, participate in a decision making and refinement process by considering how people use and respond to the design. Learn how to ensure that accessibility and equity are integrated into the design process from the beginning. Explore how design systems and reusable components lead to thoughtful digital experiences, and how responsiveness, flexibility, and sustainability are fundamental to designing for screens and across platforms. / Each student will have access throughout the class to a lab workstation equipped with the latest software. / Open to students ages 18 and above. / View complete policies.

Prerequisites: Introduction to UX Design and UX Design and the Mobile App; working knowledge of Mac OS X; previous experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and AfterEffects are helpful but not required.

What to Bring: Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook. USB drive or cloud storage option for saving work.

If the minimum enrollment is not met by the deadline above, the class will be canceled on this date. Registration will remain open after this date if the minimum enrollment has been met.
