MNKINO42 is Lost! Come find us at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design for another screening and stop motion animation workshop. Stop by and learn how to create stop motion animations out of paper and screen it later that night, no experience necessary!

MNKINO is one of a handful of United States cells of the international experimental video group KINO. Since its founding in July 2009, MNKINO participants have created over 200 original short films.

MNKINO is a bi-monthly excuse for anyone to make a film and meet others who like doing the same. It’s not just for film school graduates, artists, or videographers; it's an opportunity for individuals to experiment with video, regardless of experience, and showcase their projects in a supportive, non-judgmental setting.

To participate, simply create a video that is under five minutes in length and based on the screening's theme: Mystery Meat. Participants may bring videos they wish to screen as MP4 or MOV files.

Stop Motion Animation Workshop: 1:00–5:00 p.m., Room 113

MNKINO Screening, 5:30–6:30 p.m.
