The Minneapolis College of Art and Design is pleased to be presenting the bold and distinctive design work of Aaron Draplin ’00. After graduation, Draplin left his midwestern roots and headed west, working first as the art director of SNOWBOARDER magazine and then as senior designer for Cinco Design Office in Portland, Oregon. In 2004, Draplin successfully launched his own company and continues to work with a range of partners, including Coal Headwear, the Union Binding Company, Absinthe Films, RVLR Apparel, Nemo Designs, and many more. The exhibition will feature a wide range of Draplin's iconic work including logos, records, posters, Field Notes samples, clothing, and more!

Draplin will be speaking at the Head, Heart, Hand: AIGA Design Conference 2013 at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Saturday, October 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
You must register for the conference to attend the lecture.
