After receiving her BA in 2010, Chelsea Reeck moved to Minnesota and took ownership of an art gallery in White Bear Lake, the Art Preserve and Studio, and added a second location in Woodbury, Minnesota, in 2012. After widening her interdisciplinary knowledge and investigations within her photographic practice and expanding her exhibition record she began pursuing her MFA at MCAD in 2015.

Over her photographic career, Reeck has participated in numerous shows around campus and in the Twin Cities, and has also led seminars for students off campus focusing on image capture using DSLR, medium-format, and large-format cameras. Her workshops also include lighting techniques, post-production, printing archival pigment prints, as well as alternative processes—Platinum/Palladium Printing, Gum Bichromate printing, Cyanotype Printing, Mordancage Printing, Traditional Darkroom Printing, and bookmaking.
