Hardy Stewart
Adjunct Faculty
BFA, Minneapolis College of Art and Design

Hardy Stewart studied at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and London College of Communication prior to working in New York City and Minneapolis. He has a range of experiences both independently and with studios and collaborators. Some notable accolades include serving as a Webby Awards judge, working as an intern under renowned design writer and critic Janet Abrams, attending Frank Gehry’s birthday to celebrate the launch of New York by Gehry, seeing Keanu Reeves on a daily basis during the “Sad Keanu” period, and ringing the opening bell at NASDAQ exchange on the day of Facebook's IPO, during Internet Week NY.

Stewart runs an independent design studio with a focus on digital design and strategy as well as brand development and print design. The studio's mission remains simple: to develop innovative and functional design solutions that are rooted equally in concept and content and always to value process over style. His clients and collaborators have included the American Refugee Committee, Cook + Fox Architects, Gehry Partners, IDEAS CITY, IDEO.org, Intelligence LA, Internet Week NY, Michael Cina Associates, the Park Avenue Armory, Rebecca Taylor, the Webby Awards, and YLABs.
