Rob Perez is a writer and director, perhaps best-known for writing 40 Days & 40 Nights, starring Josh Hartnett. Perez has written for most major studios, including Universal, Miramax, New Line, 20th Century Fox, Working Title Films, Imagine Entertainment. Perez has also spent a year writing exclusively for Ridley Scott.

As a director, Perez has helmed a feature film, “nobody”, a pilot, “West Lake,” and various short-form content, including commercials, PSAs, and the very occasional art piece for the Walker Museum.

Perez has a bachelor of arts in theater, film, and video from Middlebury College. Additionally, Perez studied at New York University’s Tisch dramatic writing program and University of Southern California’s filmic writing program. Currently, Perez is the creator and director for a new media series called Distilled.
