Describe the work you submitted for merits.

Drawings, prints, and artist's books that explore the body and the psyche through a queer lens.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I was drawn to the program, the resources, and the Minneapolis area.

What are your plans for your senior year? And beyond?

I'll be spending my last semester working on my senior project. After graduation I plan to stay in Minneapolis and continue making work and finding ways to stay connected with other makers.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

Being surrounded by other artists has been the best thing—both for my artistic practice and finding people I can connect with.

What's the best thing you've got from MCAD's free shelf?

An iridescent ceramic box with a unicorn on the lid with the horn broken off <3

What inspires you?

Goth & punk media, seeing queer people in the wild, night walks, etc.
