Thanksgiving Feast 2017
Share:

It's that time of year again for MCAD's great big Thanksgiving Feast.

Every November, MCAD caters a huge Thanksgiving dinner for students. It's a really nice thing the college does, especially for those who can't go home for the holiday break. You can smell the food all the way from the college center to the Main Gallery. This year, the line of students spanned all the way down through the skyway to the Morrison Building.

MCAD makes sure that everyone is able to eat at the feast, regardless of their schedules or diets. Students with night classes get to skip the line, plus lots of vegetarian and vegan options are always available.

What are you thankful for?
What are your plans for the break?

Nora: "I'm thankful for my loved ones, and spending time with family as a break before finals."

Sophie: "I'm thankful to be here!"

"I'm thankful for the pumpkin pie tower!"

Molly: "I'm thankful for my friends and family and over break I'll be doing homework and studying."

As we all waited in line, we wrote in thank-you cards so we can send them out to MCAD donors!

Brett: "I'm thankful for Thanksgiving break and I'm going to fix the ceiling of my house! I have to be productive!"

Bill: "I'm just thankful I still have a job!"

Thad: "I'm super thankful for this dinner that they put together for us! It's super kind of them."

Skylar: "I'm thankful for video games."

Lastly, a thank you to the people who put together the Thanksgiving dinner, MCAD facilities, and the amazing donors who've donated to the yearly scholarships!
