Calling all dog owners: Lina Barengolts ’17 is taking portraits of pups and donating half of the proceeds to a local animal organization, Small Dog Rescue of Minnesota.
“I love dogs. Some might say I have an obsession, they wouldn't be completely wrong,” joked Barengolts, before going on to describe the inspiration behind the event. “I was thinking about all of the dog events I have been to and how I could have one of my own. As a photographer, my main focus is in portraiture, so photographing dogs seemed to be the perfect way to combine two things I love. Dogs deserve to have great headshots too! It's also for a good cause, so even if people don't own a dog, they should still come hang out (free petting and snacks).”
Small Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer group committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs twenty pounds and under.
