Director of Sustainable Design Denise DeLuca has been invited to teach a four-day immersion course in a natural area outside of Bangaluru, India, at the resort Red Earth Kabini. She will be teaching leaders, and emerging leaders, in social innovation organizations how to use the concepts and tools of biomimicry to solve social challenges.

Red Earth Kabini is an eco-resort located on the backwaters of the Kabini dam near the famed Nagarhole tiger reserve in southwest India. The course is part of a larger program run by the Amani Institute.

DeLuca was also invited to participate in the Teaching Green Inventing: Integrating Environmental Responsibility in Innovation & Entrepreneurship Education workshop. This workshop is hosted by the Lemelson Foundation, which has previously supported the master of arts in sustainable design program at MCAD.
