Faculty member Andy DuCett had installations at the mysterious Eaux Claires festival this past weekend.

DuCett's inspiration for the installation is a "psychedelic grandma." The piece, entitled The Janette, is an immersive sonic environment comprising a modified piano in a wallpapered A-Frame with speakers dispersed in the surrounding trees. As is the case with most of his work, audience participation was encouraged to bring the piece to life—musicians performed full sets in the piece.

Eaux Claires is a two-day, multi-stage experience featuring live music, performance art, visual art, food, and more that takes place in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
