Work by Regan Golden

Faculty member Regan Golden has launched the new series Seeing Plants: Vision and Botany in Contemporary Art while serving as a guest editor for Mn Artists.

Seeing Plants is a series of writings by artists, designers, and botanists questioning the role that plants play in our everyday lives: as material for our artwork, as inspiration, as medicine, and as a reminder of our own mortality.

Golden-McNerney depicts ecological change in the American landscape using altered photographs and drawing materials. Golden's hand-cut photographs and large-scale drawings have been exhibited in solo and group shows both nationally and internationally, including The Painting Center, Gallery 44: Centre for Contemporary Photography, Harvard University's Fisher Museum, The Cue Foundation, and the Midwest Photographers Project at the Museum of Contemporary Photography.
