Work by Jacques

Patricia Jacques ’18 created three editorial illustrations for Chef Vishwesh Bhatt's food essay "Tex-Mex Kashmira: In The Kitchen With My Mother," that were published in Gravy Quarterly Magazine's October 2018 online edition. 

The essay reflects on the transformation of Bhatt's mother's cooking after moving from Bombay, India, to Austin, Texas. 

Jacques is inspired by travel, food, and culture, and leans to biomimicry and biophilic design in her practice.
