Faculty, students, and alumni of the master of arts in sustainable design program are keeping busy this spring.

Denise DeLuca, director of the program, has been invited to conduct a workshop for the Arizona chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature will take place during ASID's Professional Development Day. Through this workshop, participants will be introduced to the what, why, and how of biomimicry for design and a chance to explore nature can be used to spark creativity.

Faculty, students, and alumni of the MA program, including Dawn Keene ’13, MA, are also interviewing over forty leaders in the sustainability field in the leadup to Sustainable Brands' flagship conference in Vancouver, BC.

In addition, nine MA in Sustainable Design faculty and alumni have been invited to the conference to catalyze the Re-Designing for the Good Life through the lens of Design Thinking Activation Hub.
