Professor and Chair of Fine Arts Howard Quednau is showcasing a solo exhibit, Howard Quednau: Dioramas, at Gustavus Adolphus College. The exhibit features dioramas created by Quednau over the last eight years, depicting scenes from simple human interactions to political satire.

Having always seen himself as a 2D artist in the past, within the last couple of years his work has changed to anything but two-dimensional. "As a teacher, I always tell students to take risks and put themselves out there. Then, I was all of a sudden at a point where I had to do the same,” he tells the fine arts blog of Gustavus Adolphus College.
