Peter Steineck ’12 was awarded a $5,000 grant from the Visual Arts Fund in support of his animation project, Hellavision Television

Hellavision Television Animation Show is a series of episodic experimental animation screenings. Accompanying each screening is a printed zine which includes original work, images from the show, and detailed credits. Participating artists are asked to create a new animation quickly and cheaply, and to restrict self-judgment. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate.

The Visual Arts Fund is the Andy Warhol Foundation's Regional Regranting Program, launched in 2007, which aims to support vibrant, under-the-radar, and self-organized artistic activity by partnering with leading cultural institutions in communities across the country. Midway Contemporary Art is the eleventh organization to host the Warhol Foundation’s Regional Regranting program, making funding available for artists in the Twin Cities Metro Area.
