Ann Wood ’86 was recently interviewed by the House That Lars Built about her artistry of making botanicals out of paper, how her education in the arts helped shaped her artistic career, and what inspires her.

Wood works mainly from live plants, dissecting the plants to understand the shapes then sculpting them in three-dimension.

In the interview, Wood says that "I think having the ability to be fluid between many disciplines has helped me feel comfortable trying a lot of different creative ventures."
