Kate Worum ’11 is the illustrator for the New York Times project Committed: 165 Years of Wedding Announcements. The series focuses on the good, bad, trendy, and unique wedding announcements over the past 165 years, including a woman who received 65 marriage proposals but never married, and brides wearing dresses made of silk from the parachutes that had saved their grooms in battle..
Worum is also featured in Southwest Journal and Minnesota Monthly about her business SheShe. Founded with interior architect Jennifer Jorgensen, the two collaborate and create personalized hand painted wallpaper. These custom wallpaper designs were first inspired by the founders' personal experiences but are now focusing on clients' interests and needs.
