Carnival of Cats (2D and 3D Art inspired by Felines) (in person)

If you love cats, this camp is pawsitively purrfect! Inspiration for our creations comes from famous artists such as Theophile Steinlen, Andy Warhol, Wanda Gag, Paul Klee, from Oaxacan wood carvings, and a trip to the Minneapolis Institute of Art to see works that feature felines. Ages 6–9

Fat cats, crazy cats, curious cats…in this class young artists make them all using drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture techniques. Students create both from observation and their imaginations. On Friday, families and friends will be invited to view our meowsome masterpieces!

Open to students ages 6-9. MCAD strictly adheres to these age guidelines and is unable to allow exceptions. Please review our complete Summer Youth Camps Policies as well as our General Policies before completing your registration.
