Majors

Some students come to MCAD already committed to studying a particular major. Others are undecided or change course after exploring different disciplines. Whichever path you choose, the college’s progressive curriculum emphasizes collaboration and experimentation. Classes are taught by working artists and designers in the field. 

Before declaring a major and minor, first-year students take a series of foundation courses that expose you to an array of techniques, tools, and concepts.
