Visiting-Artist Lecture: Nash Dunnigan of Blue Sky Studios

Nash Dunnigan, the art director for this summer’s blockbuster animated film Ice Age: Continental Drift, will talk about design as it applies to CG features, and he'll discuss the latest Ice Age film. Dunnigan has worked at Blue Sky Studios as an art director, designer, and artist for more than ten years. Before that, he was an art director, designer, and artist for numerous animated television series, including Disney’s Doug, Dora the Explorer, and The Venture Brothers.

FRANK MFA open studio night

FRANK MFA open studio night The annual open studio event is held to showcase the MFA students of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Come and meet these emerging artists and designers and see their process, their finished work, and their working environment. There will be a live performance by MFA candidate John Keston and his band DKO starting at 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
