Abbi Allan’s life work is about creating a hybridization between art and science. She has taught at the Science Museum of MN since 2001, teaching science through visual projects. And she has been with MCAD and the College of Visual Arts since 2008. Allan's own work examines the fragility of nature: both its beauty and its grotesque accumulated effects when abused. She is also a radio personality and music director at KFAI.
