The artwork I submitted had a variety of pieces from my Foundation Studies courses. A lot of my pieces were from my Drawing 1 and 2 class, 2D Foundations, Media 1, and 3D Foundations. Why did you decide to come to MCAD? Although deciding on an art school was a difficult choice, I chose MCAD because of the Animation program, the classes offered, the great community, and the financial aid offered to me. What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make? My educational goal is to push myself to master basic skills, define my areas of interest, and become a critical thinker. I'm currently very excited about my Introduction to Animation final. Favorite thing about college life (so far)? My favorite thing so far is the amazing people I have met. I've made amazing friends and have great professors. I also love my classes and the majority of the homework. What inspires you? I have always been inspired by the cartoons I grew up watching, such as Over the Garden Wall, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, etc. Besides animated shows a lot of my inspiration comes from life experiences and my emotions. Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it! One of my favorite pieces is a mural I created at my old high school. It was a nine foot painting of an acrylic rainbow elephant outside the art room. Anything you're obsessed with at the moment? My friend's aunt's dog, if you saw this dog you would understand. Do you know that bear stuffed animal with a small head and huge body? That is what this dog looks like. Truly amazing 10/10
