Describe the work you submitted for merits.

I submitted a pile o' stuff. One piece is a series of 8 close-up photos of a projector lens reflecting light in myriad ways. One is a large raised cardboard circle, made from 20+ pieces, and painted white to resemble a moon. Yet another is an 8-foot-tall still life drawing where I chose to expand my subject matter up into the ceiling as I added more paper.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I went to an arts high school, it's close to home, people I know go here, it's a small school, etc. etc.

What's next for your practice? Anything you're really excited to make?

I'm going to make a set of 12 hand-bound screen printed books, and I'm excited to display more work around the school (just did that for the first time).

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

MCAD's extensive resources and studio equipment are pretty awesome.

What inspires you?

Literally just living inspires me!

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

My favorite piece (physical) might just be this little 3D-printed set of decaying buildings that I designed without regard as to what's actually possible to 3D print. My favorite piece (happening/temporary) ought to be visiting the top floor of the IDS Tower, then writing a paper about it.

Anything you're obsessed with at the moment?

Yes!! Lots of songs, because I listen to lots of music. A few of them are; Sonne by Rammstein, Loveit by Biz, Black Out by Azari, and lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll by Dasu. For shows, currently I'm watching the BL Wuxia Word of Honor.

Lastly, do you have a favorite question we didn't ask?

True or false, on a scale of 1 to 10, what is your favorite color of the alphabet?
