Olsen’s “Floral Still” in Juried Exhibition

Woody Olsen ‘76 has a piece in Freeport Art Museum’s 20th Regional Juried Exhibition, showcasing work from artists across the Midwest. 

Olsen’s piece, Floral Still, is a playful watercolor and acrylic floral still life. Olsen works primarily in watercolor and acrylic to create abstract, floral, and architectural paintings. 

“I want the viewer to experience images of playfulness and happiness, allowing for a moment to forget their surroundings and the negative forces that abound in our world today,” Olsen says.
