A founding member of the Women's Art Registry of Minnesota (WARM), Elizabeth Erickson has worked as a painter, poet, and educator since 1970. She has received grants from the Bush, Ragdale, and Mellon foundations and the Minnesota State Arts Board. Erickson has taught in the fine arts department since 1983 and is the director of the Women's Art Institute, which she founded in 1999.
