Support MCAD Students

Share:

Thank you for considering a gift to MCAD during these unsettling times.

Due to recent events, funding efforts are currently focused on three key areas:

EMERGENCY STUDENT SUPPORT:
The MCAD Emergency Student Assistance Fund helps students with emergency needs such as temporary housing, space to self-quarantine, food supplies, transportation, mental health support, and other essentials. The financial challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic are exactly the kind that can derail a student’s education. Gifts to the Emergency Student Assistance Fund will help keep students on track to graduating.

FREE COMMUNITY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS:
MCAD will offer virtual educational programming this summer through our Continuing Education department. These programs will be taught by professional art and design educators. Anyone can sign up and there will be no cost to attend. Virtual courses for all ages are being developed. Possible topics include a self-portrait workshop, a weaving/textile workshop, simple bookbinding/journal making, watercolor painting, Photoshop techniques, and more. Please consider a donation to help underwrite the cost of free community educational programs.

SCHOLARSHIPS:
Now more than ever, scholarships are crucial to MCAD student success. With more than 97% of students receiving some form of financial aid, your gift to MCAD scholarships will have meaningful impact on the lives of MCAD students; particularly in light of the hardships placed on many students due to COVID-19.

Thank you again for your support!
