Want to get a taste of the college experience? MCAD's Postsecondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) is an honors program for high-school seniors in Minnesota. Being accepted into this program allows you to take college courses and earn college credit, free of charge, while still in high school.

To be considered for PSEO, you must demonstrate self-discipline, maturity, and a high level of commitment to visual and liberal arts. You may apply to participate in on-campus courses if you live within fifty miles of campus, or in online courses if you live beyond fifty miles from campus. If admitted, high school seniors may take one 3-credit course per semester for up to two semesters (fall and spring) for a total of 6 credits. The PSEO program is competitive and highly selective and students are not guaranteed classes from semester to semester.
