TEACHING PHILOSOPHY & MENTORSHIP

Through hands-on, project-oriented teaching that intersects with critical dialogue and contemporary technologies, students learn to become self-motivated, critical independent thinkers and cultural producers. Ultimately, my goal as an educator is to help students establish a mode of working that is independent of assignments and institutional direction so that when they exit their formal education, they can continue to pursue their interests, continue making, and become lifetime learners that excel within their personal practices and broader communities.
