Drawing Studio: Mythical Creatures and Magical Worlds for ages 12-15 (in person)

Dive into the world of mythical creatures and learn sketching, drawing and watercolor pencil techniques. Open to ages 12-15.

Course description

Mythical creatures are supernatural animals and beings that may not exist. Discuss popular mythical creatures and look at mythical, magical and fantasy artworks as inspiration to imagine creatures and fantastical worlds. Receive constructive feedback from peers and the instructor throughout the process. Develop drawing techniques and concepts in pencil, pen, ink, and watercolor pencils while designing and creating a final mythical creature illustration that sparks imagination and wonder. / Material fee of $15 included in tuition.

Open to students ages 12–15. Students must meet the age requirement by August 1, 2025. Please review our complete Teen Policies as well as our General Policies prior to completing your registration.

Required materials

Supplies for the first class
Pen or pencil; notebook or sketchbook.

The material fee for this class will cover the required supplies.

What to wear
Clothes appropriate for messy creativity.
