About The Center The White Bear Center of Arts has been around for over 50 years and is supported by over 40 businesses. Many donations fund this space as well as art workshops. This center offers many different art classes and teaching opportunities for artists to participate in. Such classes include pottery and watercolor classes. Watercolor Class The building is fairly new, with a built-in kiln for ceramics, an art store, featuring local artist work for sale, as well a newly constructed gallery space. The space also offers a gallery hallway space that showcases many different artists' works leading to their spacious outdoor area. Hallway Space The current artist in Resident, Sieng Lee, says this space offers “ support for visual artists to submit work and showcase in an exhibition.” The built-in gallery allows for natural lighting and gives a unique perspective for artists to present and install their work. Lee says he wants to build a pipeline for MFA students to present their work, such students including Genie Tran 22’ who will present her work in this space.
