Located in Gallery 148, MCAD, 2501 Stevens Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404 The Marigolds of Justice is an artist collective comprised of Abe Shriner, Emmy E. Smith and Rosario Parker Gordon. In their latest project, Hits of Positivity: Wild Life Rescue, life-sized facsimiles and living things oscillate between appearing and being in an immersive gallery exhibition. Paintings and text hesitate to expound on the theme, but maybe the gender reveal cake will show us what we're made of. Elsewhere, worms pursue their activities in the dark under the radiations of The Virgin Mary's reign and the Grass Phone waits, a question receiver, an oracle whose wildness is kept safe in the continent of an astroturf sleeve.
