Admitted: Sexual Assault Prevention Online Course

As a new MCAD student, you must complete a sexual assault prevention course in order to maintain your MCAD registration.

In order to complete the course, you must earn a score of 80% or more and demonstrate you have spent enough time on the material in order to successfully complete the course. You will be emailed a certificate of completion once the requirements are met.

  • It is recommended that you access the course on a personal computer with a strong internet connection.*
  • Ensure your browser has JavaScript enabled and pop-up blockers are turned off. Check whether your computer meets the requirements.
  • The program takes approximately forty minutes to complete. If you wish to stop before completing the program, log in from the same device to pick up where you left off.

Though this is a federal requirement that is part of the Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act, MCAD takes prevention of sexual assault and harassment seriously. If you are sensitive to the course material and unable to start or complete it, an alternative program will be offered.

*Although technically accessible on a mobile device, it is highly recommended that you connect to a trusty wireless network and do not use cell data to view the training. As the video and audio files are quite large, strong internet is crucial to successfully making it through the entire training.
