MCAD is proud to recognize Aldo Moroni ’76 with the 2020 Alumni Achievement Award.

A sculptor and urban planner, Moroni grew up in Chicago and came to Minneapolis in the early 1970s to attend MCAD. His career took off when he landed in the 1977 Walker Art Center exhibition Scale and Environment, Ten Sculptors, curated by Walker director Martin Friedman. Moroni is a recipient of numerous Minnesota arts grants, including three McKnight Foundation fellowships.

Please take a few moments to enjoy an intimate and insightful pre-recorded conversation featuring MCAD President Sanjit Sethi and Aldo Moroni ’76; as well as special guests, Aldo’s MCAD classmates Nancy Carlson ’76 and Jack Becker ’76.
