Describe the work you submitted for merits.

I submitted a variety of works in several mediums, all pertaining to the self and the body.

Why did you decide to come to MCAD?

I knew I wanted to go to an art school, of course, and I really love Minnesota. I also really liked the facilities, and it seemed like graduates had a good success rate.

What are your plans for your senior year? And beyond?

I'm excited to work on a senior project and after I hope to get my K12 licensure to be able to teach art in elementary schools.

Favorite thing about college life (so far)?

I've really liked getting to live in the city and being able to find a community here.

What's the best thing you've got from MCAD's free shelf?

A ton of fabric samples!

What inspires you?

People.

Do you have a favorite piece you've made? Describe it!

My favorite piece I've made is called Fading [below] and it's an all grey watercolor with a portrait fading into the background.
