More than 50 pieces of artwork are now up for online bidding at the Auction @ MCAD! Don't miss this opportunity to bid on incredible work by MCAD alumni and friends from the comfort of your home, all in support of MCAD scholarships.

Bidding Instructions

Please set up an account with our event partner Auction Harmony to start bidding. When you have successfully signed up for the event, you will receive an email confirming your account.

How do I make a bid?
Navigate to the “auction” button where you are able to view all biddable lots. Find something you like? Select the lot to review the description and pricing information. If you would like to place a bid on the lot, scroll down and select your bid price from the listed options and click “place bid.” Confirm your bid via the pop up and you’re all set! If you’re outbid on the lot, you will be notified via email and text which will allow you to bid again if you’d like. Happy Bidding!

How do I make a donation?
Click the “Make a Donation” button to view a grand total of donations and make your gift. Simply select the amount that you would like to donate and answer the questions on the next screen. Click “make donation” to finalize your contribution.

How do I complete my auction purchase and/or donation?
You'll be prompted to enter your credit card information when you bid on an auction item or make a donation. You will need to finalize your purchase(s) by clicking the "checkout" button after the auction closes (or whenever you're finished if you're not bidding on anything). There, you'll see your total, including all auction items you won and your donation. Once you complete your purchase, you'll receive an email receipt. All credit cards will be billed by “Auction Harmony.”

*All auction artwork purchases are subject to Minnesota state sales tax*

What if I want to pay for my donation and auction items with something other than a credit card?
No problem! You’ll still have to enter a credit card to bid or donate, but when you get to Checkout, just select “I want to pay in a different way.” Then specify your payment request and you will be contacted to confirm your payment.

How do I collect my item?
MCAD staff will reach out to all winning bidders during the week of May 23. Buyers will have the option of picking up their work at MCAD, local delivery for a fee of $50, or shipping (if out of state - shipping costs vary).

At MCAD, we recognize the important role of art and design within our communities. With 97% of our students receiving some form of financial aid, supporting The Auction at MCAD is a fun and impactful way to build your art collection while making a difference! Please consider making a Fund-A-Need donation in support of MCAD scholarships.
