Fri, Sep 23, 2016, 5 pm –Sat, Oct 8, 2016, 5 pm Gallery 148 Gallery Exhibition Image Flash is a show that explores tattooing as an art form from the different perspectives of the wearer and of the artist. In an attempt to spark conversation, the show features a highly interactive component where the audience is encouraged to become part of the installation. In doing so it also touches on the looming issues of copyright and ownership. Tattoos are a living, breathing entity that bend and fade over time. Once reserved for sailors and criminals, tattoos are steadily rising up from the underground. What does this mean for the future of the artist and of the art form itself? This show is organized by MCAD student Alex Hall.
