Seamless is a word that many might use to describe the look of any short film or animation. But the visual storytelling process is a varied and often arduous one that takes years to complete. This exhibition features eight international filmmakers who employ a wide range of techniques to create compelling stories that elicit delight, disgust, laughter, and tears. The short films are on continuous view in the gallery and accompanied by process videos, original sketches, paintings, puppets, and other materials that make these unique productions possible.

The selection of participating artists was made by MCAD Media Arts Professor Tom Schroeder.
