Edie Fake was born outside Chicago in 1980 and currently resides in the desert near Joshua Tree, California. His work grapples with the manifestation and meaning of queer space. His drawings use architectural elements as visual metaphors for the ways in which trans identities exist in the world.

This lecture is supported in part by the Alice B. Fjelstul ’96, MFA Visiting Artist Fund.
